Join us for a night to remember
Get ready for some serious laughter on February 26! THIRD ACTion Film Festival has partnered with Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club Calgary for a special Battle of the Generations to decide which Generation is the funniest!
You decide which Generation is the best
On that evening, you will have the chance to see four teams, each representing a generation - Boomer, Gen X, Millennial, and Gen Z - battling in a tight standup comedy.
And it will be up to you to decide which team will take the Best Generation and Best Overall Comic awards!
Not only that, but prizes will range from a spot at Yuk Yuks Calgary and Edmonton to clips of their performance being featured at our festival in August 2025.
The teams are ready for battle!
Each team will have a leader plus two more teammates. Trust us... they are all eager to prove which generation has the best sense of humor. It will be a fierce battle.
We would love to share all the great names, but for the sake of curiosity... we will just leave you with the leaders.
Team Boomer (1946 - 1964): Tom Carver
Team Gen X (1965 - 1980): Julie Robinson
Team Millenials (1981 - 1996): Cindy Rivers
Team Gen Z (1997 - 2012): Piyush Malhotra

Tickets with a special treat
All tickets are being sold through Yuk Yuks Website. There are two options available, standard and premium tickets.
The Standard ticket offers the show that starts at 7:30 PM.
The Premium ticket, however, will give you an exclusive VIP wine tasting and networking at 5:30 PM before the show starts.
